Description

At this stage, learners have automatic word recognition, and can read quickly and easily. Students are learning to become flexible and strategic readers. Students in this stage are typically between 8-14 years old.

Teaching Strategy

  • Word origin's
    • Teach students to find the Greek or Latin root words. It will help them understand similar words that have the same root.
